1. Data Stored Only on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device and does not leave it unless you actively use a feature that requires transmission (see the sections below):

• Trips (destination, dates, trip type, luggage and accommodation choices)
• Packing lists, checked items, custom items, favorites and templates
• Traveler profiles you create (name or label, adult/kid selection)
• Your home location, if you set one for the trip movie feature
• App settings and onboarding answers

You can delete all of this at any time in Settings → Delete all data, or by uninstalling the app.

2. Weather and Destination Search

When you create a trip, the app sends the destination name and its coordinates to Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) to retrieve a weather forecast and to resolve place names. No identifiers, no account data, and no other trip details are transmitted. Open-Meteo does not receive your identity.

3. Photo Scan (Optional)

If you use the photo scan feature, the photo you take is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our processing service, analyzed to recognize items, and immediately discarded. Photos are not stored on our servers, not used for training, and not shared with third parties beyond the processing itself. If you never use photo scan, no photos are ever transmitted.

4. Shared Lists (Optional)

If you enable live sharing for a list, that list (items, quantities, checked state, trip name and dates) is stored on our cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase) so the people you invite can see and check items. Sharing uses an anonymous technical identifier — no name, email or account is required. You can stop sharing at any time; your local copy always remains on your device.

5. Purchases

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Google Play and our billing provider RevenueCat. We receive purchase state (e.g. active subscription, product identifier, country, anonymized transaction data) to unlock features and handle support. We never receive your payment details. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

6. Analytics and Crash Reporting

We use Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config) to understand which features are used, fix crashes and configure the app remotely. This involves technical data such as device model, OS version, app version, coarse region, session events (e.g. "trip created") and crash traces. This data is aggregated or pseudonymous; we do not use it to identify you personally. Firebase privacy information is available at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

7. Notifications

All reminders (e.g. "departure tomorrow") are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send push messages from a server, and notification content never leaves your phone. You can disable notifications at any time in the app or in system settings.

8. What We Do Not Do

• No ads, no ad networks, no tracking across apps or websites
• No sale or renting of data
• No accounts, no email collection, no contact list or calendar access
• No precise background location tracking — your location is never collected; destinations are places you type in

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can access, export and delete your data directly in the app (Settings → Export data / Delete all data). Since your content lives on your device, deleting the app deletes your content. For anything related to shared lists, purchases, analytics or any privacy question — including requests to access or delete data held by our service providers — contact us at labskiro@gmail.com and we will resolve it.

Where applicable, you also have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

10. Children

Packly is a general-audience travel utility and is not directed at children. Traveler profiles for kids are labels created and stored by you on your device.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will update it at this address and adjust the effective date above. Significant changes will be highlighted in the app.
