Privacy Policy — Renvo
Last updated: 30 June 2026
Renvo is an offline, local-first invoicing app. Your data stays on your device. We do not have a server, we do not have user accounts, and we do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. We show no ads and use no advertising or analytics trackers. The only times the app uses the internet are actions you start yourself (sharing a file, refreshing exchange rates, or backing up to your own cloud account).
This Privacy Policy explains how the Renvo mobile application ("Renvo", "the app", "we", "us") handles information. Renvo is developed by KiroLabs ("the developer"). Contact: labskiro@gmail.com · https://kirolabs.io
1. Information stored on your device
To do its job, Renvo stores the information you enter, only on your device, including:
- Your business profile(s): name, address, logo, signature, tax/VAT identifiers, bank details (IBAN/BIC), payment links.
- Your clients and contacts: names, addresses, email, phone, tax identifiers.
- Your products/services, taxes, and discounts.
- Invoices, estimates, payments, receipts, expenses (including any receipt photos you add), time entries, and projects.
- Generated PDF and e-invoice files.
- App settings and preferences.
This data is held in a local, encrypted database on your device. It is not uploaded to us and is not accessible to the developer.
2. Information we collect
None. The developer does not collect, receive, store, or have access to any of the information you enter into Renvo. Renvo has no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting service, and no user accounts.
3. Permissions and why they are used
Renvo requests certain device permissions only when needed for a feature you use. Each is optional; declining one only disables that specific feature.
- Camera — to photograph a logo, signature, or expense receipt. Images are stored on your device only.
- Photos / storage — to pick images to attach and to save or share generated PDF/e-invoice files.
- Contacts — only if you choose "import from contacts," to copy client details into the app. Renvo does not upload your contacts.
- Notifications — to show local reminders (e.g. due/overdue invoices). These are generated on your device; no server is involved.
- Internet/network — used only for the optional, user-initiated actions described in Section 4.
4. Network connections
Renvo works fully offline. It connects to the internet only for the following optional actions:
- Sharing/sending — when you tap share/send, your device's operating system and the app you choose (email, messaging, cloud apps) handle the transfer. The shared file goes only where you direct it.
- Exchange-rate refresh — if you use multi-currency and choose to refresh rates, the app requests current currency rates from a third-party rates service. This request contains no personal data (only currency codes).
- Cloud backup (optional) — if you enable backup to your own Google Drive or Dropbox account, an encrypted backup file is stored in your account, under your control. We never receive a copy. This data is then also subject to Google's or Dropbox's own privacy policies.
We do not operate any server that receives your data, and Renvo does not transmit your invoices, clients, or business data to the developer.
5. Third-party services
Renvo does not embed advertising networks, analytics providers, or social SDKs. The only third parties involved are services you choose to use: the exchange-rate provider (no personal data sent) and your own cloud-storage provider for backups (governed by that provider's policy). Distribution through the Google Play Store may involve Google collecting certain technical data under its own policies, which is outside the developer's control.
6. Your clients' data and your responsibilities
Because Renvo is a tool you use to run your business, the client and contact details you enter are personal data for which you are the data controller. Renvo processes that data locally on your behalf and does not transfer it to the developer. You are responsible for using it in line with applicable law (for example, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR), including handling your clients' requests regarding their data.
7. Data retention and deletion
Your data remains on your device until you delete it. You can delete individual records within the app, or remove all data by using the app's data-wipe option or by uninstalling Renvo. If you enabled cloud backup, delete the backup file from your own Drive/Dropbox account to remove that copy. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for the developer to delete on its side.
8. Children
Renvo is a business tool intended for adults (freelancers and businesses). It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Security
Your data is stored in an encrypted local database on your device. Optional backups are encrypted. As with any software, no method of storage is completely secure; keeping your device protected (screen lock, OS updates) helps protect your data.
10. Your rights (GDPR / EU users)
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, you have rights over your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, and portability. Because your data is stored locally on your device and not held by the developer, you exercise these rights directly within the app (view, edit, export, and delete your data). For any questions, contact us at labskiro@gmail.com.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, within the app or store listing.
